What Our Customers Say
Client Reviews…
“Been having problems with our drains backing up every few months. Had three different firms out who all wanted to dig up the drive for thousands. These lads did a camera survey first and found it was just tree roots from next door’s oak tree. Cleared it with high pressure jetting for under £200. Other firms were trying to rob us blind! Proper honest bunch.”

Sound as a pound!
“Toilet upstairs was playing up for weeks – going slow and making funny noises. Thought it might be expensive so kept putting it off. Finally called Sludge Busters and Loz came out same day. Turned out to be a simple blockage that he cleared in ten minutes. Only charged me £85 which I thought was very fair. Should have called them weeks ago instead of worrying about it!”

Can’t fault them
“Our gran’s bungalow in Fordhouses had sewage coming up in the garden. Proper horrible mess and she was getting upset about it. Loz came out same day, explained exactly what was wrong in terms she could understand, and fixed it without digging up her prize roses. Even gave her a discount because she’s a pensioner. That’s proper customer service that is.”

Absolute legends
“Been using these for our restaurant in Dudley town center for six months now. They come out monthly to clean our grease traps and keep everything flowing properly. Always turn up when they say they will, work round our opening hours, and their prices are fair. Good to find a local firm you can rely on in this game!”

I couldn’t have asked for more!
We’ve got a 1960s semi in Wednesbury and have been having problems with slow drainage for months. The kitchen sink would take ages to empty and we could hear gurgling from the bathroom upstairs whenever we used the washing machine.
Had three other companies come out for quotes. First one wanted £4,500 to dig up our driveway and replace all the pipes. Second one said £3,200 for “emergency repairs”. Third one just wanted to keep coming back every few weeks to rod the drains for £150 a time.
Then we found Sludge Busters on Google. Loz came out and did a proper CCTV survey first thing – put a camera right down the drain so we could see on his monitor exactly what was happening. Turned out there were just a couple of displaced joints where the clay pipes had shifted slightly over the years. Nothing dramatic, certainly didn’t need full replacement!
Loz recommended a patch repair using some kind of modern lining system. Total cost including the survey was £520, and it came with a 25-year guarantee. The work took about 3 hours and they didn’t even need to dig up the drive.
That was 8 months ago now and the drainage has been absolutely perfect since. Kitchen sink empties instantly, no more gurgling, no more problems. Loz could have easily tried to sell us the expensive option like the others did, but he gave us honest advice and a proper solution.
We’ve recommended them to loads of people since – my brother-in-law in Darlaston used them last month and had the same excellent experience. This is how business should be done!

Honest advice saved us thousands!
You couldn’t make it up if you tried! Christmas Eve morning, family arriving in a few hours, and our main drain decides to block completely. Toilets wouldn’t flush, washing machine backing up into the kitchen sink, and a horrible smell starting to come up through the floor drains.
Called Sludge Busters expecting a voicemail and thinking we’d be spending Christmas Day with buckets and no working toilets. But Natalia answered straight away, even though it was Christmas Eve! She said it was definitely an emergency and they’d have someone with us within an hour.
Loz arrived at exactly the time promised, Christmas Eve morning with his full kit. He was so apologetic about having to work on Christmas Eve, but we were just grateful someone would come out! Turned out to be a massive blockage in the main sewer – combination of cooking fat and tree roots that had been building up for years.
The high-pressure jetting took about 90 minutes but he got it completely clear. Even ran the CCTV camera through afterwards to show us the pipes were flowing properly. No charge for the Christmas Eve callout either – just their standard emergency rate of £180.
Our Christmas was saved! All the family could come as planned, toilets working perfectly, and we could cook Christmas dinner without worrying about the kitchen sink. Loz even said to call them if we had any problems over the holiday period, but everything’s been fine.
Six months later and no issues at all. We’ve got their number stuck on our fridge now – they’re our go-to for any drainage problems. Proper local heroes!
